Hi.

I have too many apps, I know -- 150 from cydia and 250 from the app store. (See: /var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.mobile.installation.plist)

After I do a fresh install of a patched iOS on my 3G, I get the cydia stuff installed then install the app store stuff. When I get some 40 or so apps down the list, I have to start playing the game of moving aside the mobilewatchdog bundle so springboard has time to rebuild its icon cache.

What I'd really like to do is to patch mobilewatchdog to increase the springboard timeout to something like five minutes, and the hardware timeout to 20 or 30 minutes. I can do a binary edit; all I need to know is the locations to patch.

Anybody?
