Free app to tether?
Is there one out there to use my phone as a modem? I only need it for a very limited time so I don't want to really buy an app if I don't have to. Thanks!

You might have better luck in this forum.

I think your link isn't right.
@OP, the best tethering app is MyWi. It is a paid app but well worth the money as it works very well.
For free, there's pdanet. I don't know if the free version is a trial or just lacks some features that the pro version has, but these are the only wireless tethering apps that I know of.
