AirPrint on iPhone 3GS with 4.1 possible?

I'm just wondering if it's possible to splice the AirPrint functionality onto my iPhone 3GS that's currently running iOS 4.1. The device is jailbroken with an untethered jailbreak and it's unlocked. And because I'm lucky enough to have a device with an old bootloader, I'm reluctant to upgrade just to get the AirPrint feature, the only thing that matters to me, as I already have an AirPrint-supported printer.

If it's not possible, I'll learn to live without it, but I just can't see upgrading just to get it.

No, not at 4.1 but 4.2.1. Eventhough you have the old bootrom, stay at 4.1 for now as the present jailbreak is very buggy for 3gs.
