New iPhone 3GS
Hi I have an iphone 3GS running 4.2.1. I have never jailbroken before. From what I have read on the Internet it doesn't seem as if you can jailbreak 4.2.1 without your shsh blobs (what are they!!!?) is this true? Does this apply to both a tethered and untethered jailbreak. I know an untethered jailbreak for 4.2 is not available yet but I have read that when it does become available again I will need my shsh blobs?? What can I do to jailbreak!

You can restore to custom fw of 4.2.1 to get unthethered jailbreak (old bootrom) tethered jailbreak ( new bootrom) or you can jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.6b6

What about when an untethered jailbreak is released will I be able to use it or not?
