Cydia: All sources and packages do not show up.
The application crashed in the middle of an install, the application that was being installed was installed correctly however now Cydia does not work. It lists no sources or packages under the manage tab. It usually lists a lot. I also cannot find anything with the search tool. I have tried clicking refresh under the updates tab, and when I click on an application in the main tab it says, "Note: Cannot locate package".
Please help, ThanksLast edited by michaellindahl; 12-07-2010 at 08:44 AM.

Restore your firmware and jailbreak again.

IOS 4.3 will be released this mid December, why not wait for this final release. You can get GameCenter from IOS 4.1 , IOS 4.2.1 has the added feature of Air Prints for Mac ( I believe)

Hello, I'm having the same exact problem with Cydia, except I do have 4.2.1 with the iPad baseband 6.15.00 installed on my phone. I had it working just fine with 4.2.1 for a while, but then I dropped my phone and it started shutting off, so I took it to the shop, and they couldn't fix it, but royally messed my phone up. After a week or working on the restore, I finally got my phone to work again. Then, I installed **********, and everything was fine. After, I tried to install the ultrasn0w source, and it worked. When ultrasn0w was installing, the phone rebooted, and now I don't have any sources, and I can't add any sources either.
Any suggestions??? Thank you for any help I can get!

See those asterisks in the middle of your post?
That means don't say it. "It" likely being a program that circumvents FairPlay DRM to run unsigned App Store applications. No piracy talk here, please.
--Anyway, restore + re-jailbreak should take care of the issue, assuming the hardware is working decently and isn't shot to hell. If it's the hardware that's broken, there's not a lot we can do.

Sorry about that, I'm new to this forum, but thank you for letting me know. Also, thank you for the advice, I'm trying it now. I'm hoping it's not the hardware, but it did take a little drop a few weeks ago. The phone is almost 2.5 years old, so it might be time for a new one.....
