    Default 4.2.1 to 4.1 downgrade

Is it possible to download from 4.2.1 to 4.1? I have 4.1 shsh saved on cydia. What are the steps for downgrading if it is possible?

Yes its very possible, there is an entire 3gs downgrading subforum, you should give it a read, you aren't the first person to try downgrading a 3gs.

    Thanks x98car

    @ x98car

For this to work you NEED to have your SHSH for 4.0 or 4.0.1. If you do not then tiny umbrella will not help you restore to these firmwares. You will just have to wait until the next jailbreak comes out.
Not read the whole thread but will this work for me, I only have 4.1 SHSH?

    Thanks!

Yes it will work for you. When I first wrote that 4.1 had just come out. As long as you have 4.1 SHSH then you can use the same steps.
