    Exclamation iPhone 1st Gen HELP

    Hi, my friend got his gf an iphone 1 gen and he pressed the update button on itunes and now the iphone is locked on the emergency screen.

    Can some one give me a simple step-by-step process to hactivate and jailbreak the iphone 1 gen? I have no idea what FW it's on right now.

    Thanks, ive googled it but cant find to find anything except for iphone 3g. THanks

    That's for the iPhone 2G... or is the iPhone 2G & 1st gen the same thing?

    Can I hacktivate it anyway since I dont have the original sim (dont even know what sim it takes)???

    Yup, iPhone 2G is the 1st generation iPhone. Yes this method can hacktivate it.
