Need someone to get me custom firmware

I have soley ppc macs , an ipos touch 3g and I want the most current firmware jailbreak file, can somebody send me one please?

Why do you need a custom fw, your ipod touch doesn't have baseband. You don't need custom fw , what you need is stock firmware.

You don't understand, there are NO tools for ppc macs to jailbreak, therefore I need the modified jailbreak firmware file and manually restore it onto my iPod.

Nah, it is a mac runs IBM POWERPC versus Intel x86 (64) therefore I cant use any new tools, I do have leopard however, so I have itunes 10.1 and stuff, AFAIK, I canno use any tools. and furthermore I can't do it myself, I don't know what i need

My macs run fine and the new ones are overpriced, I have no need to get a new POS windows PC for just this. You all comment on me as a 'n00b' but I have over ten years experience with computers. I have done nothing but ask (nicely mind you) if anyone could give me a modified firmware (generated by most jailbreak programs) so I could load it on my iPod, but no, I get insulted disrespected by people who obviously have not a single ounce of decency to help a person out. Really, i expected better of you moon#pie than insult someone you don't know an ounce about. Also, a moderator should not behave like a fruity school girl.

Macs aren't to bad especially right now or if your a student you get I think 15% discount

We are not insulting you, no one build a custom firmware for ipod touch.
You have a mac, you should be able to use pwnage tools, I don't have a mac, you are lucky to have a mac. If someone can take sometime to build one and he has to load it up to the net for you. You cannot attach this file to email, it is too large. Understand.

problem. you can't jailbreak an ipod with a custom FW. it already has to be jailbroken.

uhh yeah, i know that it is too big. Pwnage is not universal AFAIK, and I may be a student, I just am boycotting the intel platform, due to crappy quality. Plus pwnage does not do FW 4.2. But oh well I'll find some other forum where someone more professional and willing to help me.

If an application is not universal or powerpc, I cant run it, because of differences in architecture. And I did nto shell out 900+ for my macs, only $300 max for each if i remember correctly, i saved b y buying ppc, and discovered thier superior quality to even today's macs, which use poorly manufactured processors. In fact, a HUGE drop in quality has been noted tremendously since 2005 (when apple switched).

The funniest part is that you can't jailbreak with a custom firmware.

Oh, I have a G4 ~750mhz imac. It owned for 5 years! But there comes a time when you NEED to upgrade. I've never had a problem with intel macs.

And from my results, pwnage tool is a universal binary.
