Iphone 3G 4.0 to 4.1 Jailbreak

Hi
How do i update my firmware from 4.0 to 4.1 on my iPhone 3G and keep my unlock using the baseband 05.13.04. It is already jailbroken using redsnow.
I don't want to move up to iOS4.2.1 until its safer or iOS4.3 is out.

Restore to custom firmware of 4.1 created by Pwnage tools 4.1.2 or Snowbreeze 2.1.

Make use of the DFU mode from Pwnage tools or Snowbreeze or ireb 4.1 release 2 and then shift + restore to this cfw

well i did what u said and my iPhone is now stuck on the snowflake logo after jailbreaking?

Download redsn0w 0.9.6 b6 and browse to stock 4.1, check the last box dfu mode only. Once you are in dfu mode, restore to cfw of this 4.1 again.

i did as you said and it is again stuck after booting up at the apple snowflake. Please help!

I tried restoring again and now i get a 1600 error, please help me !

Fixed it on my own now. I used Sn0wbreeze 2.0.2 to make a new custom 4.1 nad restored to that without problems.
