SIAP: 4.2 Jailbreak

Is there a 4.2 jailbreak out yet? I have seen 4.2.1 but they get into all this tethered vs untethered junk I dont know anything about . Thanks

There is no 4.2 outside of the betas.

4.2.1 is the latetest FW although 4.2(.0) is available for iphone4
no Fully working JB is available for anything 3GS and NEWER..

tethered - The device is not "free" from the pc/mac as it needs to be reconnected every time you reBOOT (different to reSPRING)
untether - How we want it. Where you don't have to worry about being near a pc/mac when updating or installing or battery low.

4.2 was never released to the public. Apple went from 4.2 GM to 4.2.1 GM all before it came out. They only publically released 4.2.1. There will be no official jailbreak released for 4.2.

no 4.2 was released only 4.2 GM was...but after finding the errors...they relased directly 4.2.1...and u dnt need to worry if u have iphone 3g or iphone 3gs with old bootrom abt untethered and tethered...
