Urgent Attention

I jus upgraded my iphone 3g from 3.1.3 with 04.26.08 firnware to 4.2.1 using redsnow to jailreak

here are my steps:
1. upgraded via itunes to 4.2.1 with shift + restore using the 4.2.1
2. then jailbroke it with redsnow with the same ipsw i used to upgrade it.
3..installed ultrasnow using diskaid..


now the problem is i see my carrier's network but and its showing but i cant get pass the slide for emergency screen..there is no slide to unlock...


Can i get out of this...

Run redsn0w and check tether boot. If you have restored to stock 4.2.1 , then ultrasn0w will not work , you have to update to ipad BB

what is deactivate???
because i checked deactivate all the ime

Yes, you can check deactivate and tether boot. Deactivate will take away the lockdown patch which is draining the battery.

i just unchecked deactivate and did the jailbreak ....and now i see the slide to unlock screen...wat do i need to do to stop the battery from drainin and i didnt also checked the tether boot...wat would happen now

Put your official sim to activate to home screen and you won't have the battery drain since you are not using any of the lockdown patch for hactivation that drains the battery.

go to setting > general > about > modem firmware > I think you have the 05.15.xx bb because you restore to stock 4.2.1 which cannot be unlocked.

no... i have 06.15.00... and yeah i installed ultrasnow...

Yes, then you can install ultrasn0w to unlock.

Once everything is working. Power off and power up and see if you can need any tether boot.

Did you use ATNT sim to trigger from Emergency to Home Screen ?
