Ya just get the 4.2.1 do what you just did by installing cydia. Once booted back up, you will have to run redsnow again but just choose the just boot tethered option.

Dev team is working on making it untethered now so hopefully they will come up with a way soon.

No probs. Was my mistake anyway. Haste makes waste, like they say lol I should have just waited a few more mins. Oh well.

Will the iPhone boot without the tethering though?

Oh ok, sorry about that.

Well darn. I reboot my iPhone after downloading SBSettings and now the phone is stuck at the apple logo. Also tried hard resetting it.
