iphone 3g stuck on apple logo

Hi all,

I tried jailbreaking my iphone 3g 4.2.1 using redsnow. Everything was goin smooth until it the end when the apple logo appeared. I tried turning it off but I had no success. Then I put the phone in recovery mode and did a restore on itunes. Now my phoen is stuck in the USB screen. Any advise?

Please provide a link if theres already thread for this. Thanks!

Did you update your 3g to ipad baseband, if you have you cannot restore to stock 4.2.1 fw.
You can only restore to CFW of 4.2.1 using redsn0w pwn dfu method.
If you did not update to ipad bb, then you should be able to restore to stock 4.2.1 with 05.15.xx bb.

How do I know if my iphone is a ipad baseband? its actually my friend's iphone so I don't know the history behind it.
