Default Stuck in boot loop after snowbreeze 2.1 jailbreak

I have an iPhone 3g that was running ios4.1. I previously used snowbreeze to jailbreak and ultrasnow to unlock but i started having some issues with my service and my apps not loading. I decided to re jailbreak and everything went fine until it was time to restart. When the phone restarts it sits on Apple logo then i get the spinning wheel followed by a .5 second white screen the n it's back to the Apple logo. I've tried re doing the process and putting the phone in recovery mode then kicking it out with iReb neither have worked. HELP PLEASE!?!

I'd recommend making a new custom firmware with sn0wbreeze 2.0.2. 2.1 is quite buggy on iPhone 3G.

If you continue to have this issue, restore to a stock 3.1.3. Then jailbreak it with Redsn0w, then shift+restore to the custom fw made by sn0wbreeze 2.0.2.

OK thanks I'll keep that in mind in case I have issues again but it suddenly dawned on me to try creating my custom fw without hacktivating. This worked for some reason. Luckily I have an att sim 2 use.

Oh yes, hacktivating can cause problems, but I wasn't aware the issues could be this much. Usually it's just push YouTube and syncing that fails with hacktivating. But I'm glad you've got it fixed.

Edit: but another theory is that you created a new custom fw to use. I believe sometimes custom firmwares get crapped out and become corrupt in such a way. I think that's more likely than hacktivating being the problem. But like I said, glad you're a happy camper now lol.
