Can I update and jailbreak my iPhone 3GS?

I have an iPhone 3GS on 4.0.1 with baseband 5.13.04. I am dependent on an unlock as well.
Can I update to 4.2.1 while preserving my baseband using snowbreeze and than unlock using new ultrasnow? I don't want to update my baseband as I'll lose GPS as said by dev team

Snowbreeze only supports 4.1 as in right now so what should I do?

Do you have new or old bootrom?

My bootrom version is 5.13.04 and I don't know if it is being called new or old. Back in the days of 3.1.3 when I got my iPhone I had 5.12.07 and it was called a new bootroom at that time. Than I updated to 4.0.1 and my baseband updated to 5.13.04 which is my current baseband

You can. But only if you have 4.1 SHSH.

So where from I'll be getting snowbreeze 2.1 and how will I update to 4.1?
