Accidently pressed home button while cydia was installing something.

Hey guys I was installing a******* on my iPhone 3g on 4.2.1 jailbroken and I accidently pressed the home button during the install. Now when I go into to cydia, EVERYTHING is blank. When I go to manage > packages it just goes to a blank page. I still have my cydia apps though like winterboard. Same with sources, changes, all blank. I tried refreshing and reloading but it does nothing. I don't have SSH installed and I can't install it because everything is cydia is blank.

Yes. The only purpose of AppSync is for cracked apps and MMI does not allow it.

I have the same problem. I was updating bitesms to beta 5.1 and hit the home button and now everything in cydia is blank. Ive resprung and rebooted. Help!!!

Try SBSettings-> More-> Mobile Substrate Addons->BiteSMS

If that doesn't work but cydia works in Safemode then try a different one

Be aware it needs to be turned on to uninstall it properly

I have tried everything that I can think of. I've put in safe mode and went to cydia, turned off bitesms, tried to add repos. Still nothing in cydia. The only thing there is, is the cydia front page. no sources, no packages, no installed packages.. nothing. Every thing is completely blank. The only thing that I know to do is do a fresh restore and re-jailbreak. any other ideas....

Have you tried installing the new cydia update???


Else a restore and rejailbreak

Don't forget to save your SHSH

Try and install AptBackup and AppBackup from a SSH cydia mandatory update, these will return all cydia programs and saved games so easy
