SHSH problem

I have an iPhone 4 and I am on iOS 4.1, with Limera1n jailbreak. iTunes suggested me to update to iOS 4.2, but hell no I said. Now today when I wanted to save my SHSH, I connected my iPhone to my computer and started tinyumbrella and saved my SHSH. Here is my log.

It says me that it has found iOS 4.2.1 SHSH but no iOS 4.1 SHSH??? When I installed Limera1n and opened cydia for the first time, it never asked me whether I would like to "make my life easier" or not. But how can I have an iOS 4.2.1 SHSH, when I am really on iOS 4.1 and my phone has nothing to do with iOS 4.2.1? How can I NOT have an iOS 4.1 SHSH on my phone when I have that firmware and not iOS 4.2.1?

I am unsure if I understood right but does this mean that I have to keep on iOS 4.1 without updating, for the rest of my life? Because I don't have iOS 4.1 SHSH saved, as stupid cydia never asked me if I wanted to save it?

Saving SHSH files has nothing to do with what firmware you're on. It has to do with what firmware Apple is currently giving out SHSH's for. My phone was on 4.0 for the longest time and I had SHSH's saved for 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2 and 4.1.

Cydia's "make my life easier" was offline for about a month I'd say. This does not take any responsibility off of the user to save their own SHSH files with Tiny Umbrella in the mean time.

it does not mean you will never be able to update all it means is that you will not be able to downgrade to anything less than 4.2.1 in the future as the firmwears come out. Dont Panic just make sure you back up your OWN SHSH as the new firmwears come out.

Just stay at 4.1 for now and when somebody makes a unteathered Jailbreak for 4.2.1 move up then (do you need anything that 4.2.1 brings as its not a big update and 4.3 will be out in a few weeks?)
