bought wife a 3gs, 4.1 unlocked and jailbroken on new bb with new redsnow

well she went to log into apple store and it had someones old password, anyways she went into settings on phone and did a reset i guess thinking she was going to erase all the data, now its stuck at apple logo screen

so what do i need to do to put it back to normal

You didn't have to do a reset, you should have sync with Itunes (log in to your account), then the new account will appear on the iphone.
Now you have to restore again.

how do i need to restore it since its got the new baseband ? use the ipad ipsw ?

Yes, use ipad baseband.

You can restore to stock 4.1 again and then jailbreak it with Limera1n or Redsn0w if you already have the ipad bb.
