so im on 4.0.1 and i want to get to 4.1 and jailbreak with redsnow. i have found a guide on redmond pie with the 4.1 download. so i just need to know how i get to 4.1 on my 3gs so i can jailbreak with redsnow. any little help would be great. thanks guys

If you are jailbroken and have you 4.1 shsh saved in cydia then download the 4.1 firmware and shift + restore in iTunes , making sure you have your hosts file pointed upwards cydia
Correct, if you have 4.1 shsh blob showing in Cydia, then run tiny umbrella, plug iphone in click save shsh, start tss server, run itunes and shift + restore to stock 4.1 ( if unlock is not needed)
