Ok. Do you know how to SSH into your phone from your computer? Download the Cydia .deb from the page you have been trying to download it from on your phone, but download it using your computer. SSH into your phone to this location: var/root/media/Cydia/AutoInstall. If you don't have the Cydia folder or AutoInstall folder inside of your phone, create them. SSH the Cydia deb into AutoInstall folder of your phone and then reboot phone. Are you still on 3.1.3? Some people are having issues with it on that firmware.

I thank you for all of your help, but that is over my head. Yes I am still on 3.1.3. If all else fails I will reinstall 3.1.3 and re jailbreak and unlock as a last resort.

It is suggested to stay away from it if you are on 3.1.3. At least that is what stealthbravo commented with the other day.

Ah yeah, that would be the issue then. In the meantime read up a little on how to SSH into your phone. It will help you out a lot in the future. It really isn't as difficult as it sounds. Once it is set up it looks just like your folders do inside of your Windows OS. It opens up big posibilities. Sorry it didn't work out for you.

Thanks for all of your time CaptianChaos. One more question for you, is it possible to remove Cydia, reinstall with out doing a restore, and not lose my unlock? I would hate to have to reinstall everything.

    Thanks,
    Skernie

Ok I have decided to restore my phone, I need to find RedSnow 0.9.6b3, with the old Cydia on it for iPhone 3Gs 3.1.3. Can anyone give me a link to a working version of this software, I have been searching, but can't find one.

    Thanks,
    Skernie
