Updating to 4.1/ 4.2

I'm running 4.0 on my iPhone 4 right now and I want to update to 4.1/4.2 ... My phone is currently jailbroken on 4.0 and I used jailbreakme to jailbreak.. How do i upgrade to either of these firmwares without restoring/ losing my jailbreak. I do t want to restore because I dont want to lose my game data and other files, how are we supposed to update without restoring?

You can't, every restore will wipe out everthing and you will have to rejailbreak again or restore to custom firmware.
The only time , you don't lose your data is if you do an update and no jailbreaking at all.
