Upgrade to iOS 4.1 and jailbreak

I am currently on iOS 4 Ipod touch 3g MC model jailbroken with jailbreakme . I have googled but i am not sure whether i can jailbreak iOS 4.1 . I want to upgrade and then jailbreak it, the game center look attractive ^^ anyway can any good soul help me with this ? And if can post a guide for it . Thanks and have a good day !

If apple is still signing 4.1, then go and downlaod the ipt 3g 4.1 fw and shift + restore to 4.1 ipsw.
