"ipad baseband" Stuck on reboot, but not stuck when i use "boot tethered" in redsn0w.
    3gs new bootrom 4.2.1

Ok when i try to normally boot, or after jailbreaking it, it's stuck at apple logo, then i re launch redsnow 0.9.6b5 and do "just launch tethered" it boot fine, then i install ultrasn0w, reboot device, stuck again, then re do "jsut launch tethered" boot fine...what can i do to fix the stuck issue, cuz if one day i power off the phone or i m out of battery and nowhere near a PC with redsn0w i might get stuck...

Unfortunately, you will be unable to reboot without the assistance of redsn0w for the time being, by (necessary) design.

This may change in the future if you've got 4.1 SHSH blobs saved for your device, however, no guarantees.

The iPad baseband is purely for the SIM unlock. It has nothing to do with the jailbreak, or its tethered/untethered status.

You can make a custom 4.1 IPSW and restore back to it (along with the iPad baseband and therefore unlock) using PwnageTool, possibly without SHSH blobs (I doubt it, actually, but you can try if you're so inclined). If you can successfully restore to 4.1, your jailbreak will be untethered with an unlock as well.

I'd recommend you snag your iPhone's SHSH blobs anyway to hedge your bets, and Apple is still signing 4.1 as of about an hour or so ago.

Download TinyUmbrella (The Firmware Umbrella - TinyUmbrella) and hit "Save SHSH" with your device connected via USB to your computer (the sooner the better). I think you'll be surprised as to what you might find...
