iPod touch 2G MC jailbreak went wrong?

Hello, I tried to jailbreak my ipod and everything went fine untill it was done, I used greenposi0n and after clicking the ''jailbreak'' button the screen went white and then the ''Connect to itunes'' screen showed up, it's been in that mode for 10 minutes now, I'm afraid that if I connect it to itunes apple will cancel it or something.

How do I get it to WORK again, I don't care if it gets completly restored I just want it to work.

There is something called threted jailbreaking or something, is this is, that I need some boot program on my computer?

Restore again to 4.1, setup as a new device and jailbreak with GP again.

Restore with iTunes? So Apple can't brick it or something like that?

You shift + restore to 4.1 ipsw, you don't hit restore in itunes provided apple is still signing 4.1. If apple has stopped signing 4.1, then you will have to use tiny umbrella in conjunction with 4.1 shsh blogs to be able to restore to 4.1

Do I just hold in shift while I'm in itunes? I jailbreaked my iPhone 4 and everything worked so I am a first grade noob to this. :P

Yes, plug your ipod in, press shift key and hold it , then hit restore (itunes) a box will pop up for you to browse to your intended firmware.

yes, you got it right. You don't have to worry too much, ipod doesn't have baseband to worry about, so if you accidentally upgraded to 4.2.1, as long as you have 4.1 shsh blogs, you can always downgrade.
