Bootrom Exploit?
Ok so Greenpois0n was a bootrom exploit, and they said that updates couldnt patch it. Does this mean that my currently greenpois0n jailbroken ipod can update to 4.2.1 without losing its jailbreak?

No, it just means that after every update the jailbreak will work again, after it has been updated to support the new firmware of course.

It is worth noting that by default, all upcoming jailbreaks will be some form of tethered (if the device is turned off, it cannot boot into the OS without intervention from a computer) or semi-tethered (if the device is turned off, it will not reboot into a jailbroken state; but will reboot with limited functionality).
Methods are being developed to bypass these restrictions as we speak. However, please avoid upgrading your iPod's firmware willy-nilly, as iOS 4.1 is the safest place for your device jailbreak-wise.

Agree with that. 4.1 is the sweet spot right now, so to speak.
