How do I restore my iPhone 4?
Hello,
I have an iPhone, running iOS 4.2.1, and jailbroken with redsn0w. For some unknown reason, my battery is draining a lot faster than I think it should (other than winterboard, FCSP, five icon dock, I don't have anything else installed). I did have activator/sbsettings installed, but I had uninstalled those apps already.
In any case, I wanted to restore to the non-jailbroken state with 4.2.1. However, when I attempted to do this, I got a 3094 error. Could someone please help?
Thank you much!

Open up Tiny Umbrella go to advance > Uncheck : set hosts file to Cydia on exit> Close it
Now restore to 4.2.1 ipsw again.

I did that, and also deleted the reference to saurik in the hosts file, but I got the 3094 error. :-(

I think you have messed up your hosts file. Try it again just doing what Yeow said. Open TU, deselect, then close it again. Now reboot the computer then try the restore. Do not open up tiny umbrella again or edit your hosts file. If still nothing then you are either going to have to repair your hosts file or try another computer.
