I just downloaded tiny umbrella for the first time and I got this... Why is it getting 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 as well as 4.1? Wouldn't they have stopped sending those out a while ago?

I just want to make sure this is coming up right before I try to downgrade

It is able to get your SHSH for the lower firmwares if cydia has those ones on file. So at some point when Apple was still signing 4.0.1 you saved your SHSH.

Yes, you can retrieve them from as far back as the first time you saved them.

Thank you to all that helped me with this. I downgraded to 4.1 and am jailbroken now. I love it! I have been using various forms of linux for about 10 years and its really cool being able to browse around in ios. I installed iBox Carbon and am trying to figure out how to make icons for the apps that iBox doesn't have. Also, I ssh'd into the phone and was unable to find where the icons are stored.
Also, is it possible to get bin's like less / more / vi etc to run on the iphone?

WTF Over?`
After jailbreaking my phone a coworker asked me to help him. I checked his version and its 4.1 so I fired up tiny umbrella to save his shsh's. There isn't one for 4.1 even though thats what he is running?

You cant save 4.1 SHSH anymore. You can only save SHSH for a firmware when Apple is still signing that firmware. Apple is only signing 4.2.1 so that is why you can only save 4.2.1 SHSH. It has nothing to do with what firmware is actually on the phone.

I guess I just don't get it. He never upgraded past 4.1 and tu is showing shsh for 4.2.1 and then one other. Wouldn't the shsh that is on his phone now be signed?
Confused :P

Nope, SHSH are not saved on the phone. Think of SHSH as a certificate Apple gives you every time you "apply" to restore your iphone in itunes. On the current firmwares (4.2.1 right now) Apple will freely give you a certificate for that firmware. So you can be on 4.1 or even lower at 3.1.3 and ask Apple for that certificate and they will supply you the 4.2.1 SHSH. What cydia and tiny umbrella do is ask for that certificate and then store it for you. That way you can request it at a later date from them instead of Apple. So to have SHSH for 4.1 you would have needed to ask for 4.1 SHSH when Apple was still giving out 4.1 SHSH. They stopped doing this on Monday of this week. As soon as they stopped then you cannot receive 4.1 SHSH from Apple anymore.
