First of all I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in, I just really needed some help...

Status: Well I have an iPhone 4 with firmware 4.0.2 and baseband 1.59.00....its already unlocked and jailbroken with limerain and ultrasnow...

Problem: I want to use the APN settings so my data and mms work, but the tab is not there...also I was given this phone with the unlock and everything so I pretty much really just want to unlock it and jailbreak it from scratch so I know exactly what I've done to the phone...

Also: I did go into Cydia and it does have SHSH on file for 4.1 and 4.2b3....

Just please help cause the plethora of stuff on the internet and on mmi are really overwhelming and I dont know where to begin...I dont want to end up upgrading or somthing and then lose the unlock...

You can only restore to custom firmware of 4.1 created by Pwnage tools 4.1.2.
You cannot restore to stock 4.0.2 , it is history because you don't have the shsh blogs for that firmware.
If you have to restore to a stock firmware, you will lose your unlock. Hopefully, your 4.0.2 baseband doesn't get corrupted or you will be lock out.

You can also run TinyUmbrella's TSS server and upgrade to a stock 4.1 firmware to preserve the baseband. Then jb with limera1n again. Might be easier if you don't have a Mac. Or just find someone who has the custom fw made like eyeRobot here on MMi.

I build mine from Vmware, it takes me 2 hours just to build one..LOL

Once you have restored, you can install Ultrasn0w to unlock again.
