3G on 4.2.1. Multitasking problems
Harro, harro.
Straigth to the point, I jbed my iPhone 3G just yesterday when the 4.2.1 came out, everything went alright. But only when i tried to switch from an active app into a natively backgrounded one it just crashed the whole springboard.
I already tried to restore but that doesn't seem to resolve the issue. All this makes me think that maybe Apple did this on purpose, but it doesn't really matter that much if there isn't a fix immidiately, I'm getting THE iPhone 4 for Christmas anyway (yesss
).
I read that there is a problem with the Springboard itself, so i think that maybe if some elements are replaced with the 4.1's it should work OK, but who has that much time on their hands anyway to do all this, that is the question. Any help is welcome, even the pessimistic - **** happens.
Please excuse my engrish.
Thanks once again!

I wonder if anyone else is having these issues. I did the same but chose not to enable multitasking.

I'm also having the same problem. iPhone 3G running 4.2.1 jailbroken with redsn0w 0.9.6b4 with multitasking, background, and battery percent enabled.
I also find that if I go to the homescreen first before switching to the other app it works fine. It only causes a problem going from app to app.Last edited by joe8306; 11-24-2010 at 11:58 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
