I am really confused about jail breaking
I just got my iPhone 4 today and i want to jail break it but i don't know how to. The guides here are not detailed enough for me. I have 4.1 iOS and baseband 02.10.04, do i need to install iTunes on my computer and do something to iTunes on my iPhone? I also don't have any SIM card at the moment.

Limera1n or greenpoison should do. Also download tiny umbrella and save your 4.1 SHSH while you still can.

Ok, so first i install iTunes 10 then i download limera1n or greenpoison (which is better?) I connect my iPhone to iTunes on my computer then run limera1n, then it's jailbroken? When do i use tiny umbrella? Will there be any problems if i do get a sim card in the future?

If you are with official carrier, when you get your sim card,do a restore again, put your sim to activate and then jailbreak with Limera1n.
When you open up Cydia for the first time, a message will display, just say Yes, make my life easier, all future shsh blogs will be saved for you.

You would download the 4.1 firmware and then hold shift while clicking restore in itunes. A window will pop up where you can choose the 4.1 firmware. But it will only work later on if you save your 4.1 SHSH with tiny umbrella now.

Am i not able to save my SHSH anymore because apple stopped signing 4.1? Is it still worth trying to jailbreak now?

You can still save your SHSH for 4.1 now. But do it soon as they could pull the plug at any minute.

If it will let you. Seems greenpoison can have these issues sometimes. Maybe you should try Limera1n instead.
