Jailbroken but some Cydia Apps wont show?

Hi guys,

New to Jailbreaking and have done it using limera1n to my iPhone 4 running iOS 4.1.

I have a few problems though... most of the themes I download wont work, I'll select it and respring through winterboard, but they just wont work - but some have worked.

Also, I have just downloaded 'Categories' from Cydia, but I can't find the icon anywhere... I have double checked that it installed correctly under the 'Manage' part of Cydia and its there... but I can't find the icon anywhere...

Any ideas?

Some themes may not have been updated to work with 4.1 yet.

I see... thanks for that.

Any idea why some apps wont show on my screen... would this be the same issue? I assumed an app as big as Categories would be compatable with 4.1...

I think categories is compatible with 4.1 but I dont use it so not sure why that would be happening.

Ah, I've found a compatible version. I probably just need to get used to the use and layour of Cydia, lol. Thanks man.
