3GS 3.1 CANT UPGRADE to 4.0

Hi guys I try to updgrade my 3gs from 3.1 to 4.0 but the cydia has SHSH BLOG 4.1 on it what can i do? when i try updgrade there error code 3194

If Cydia only has blobs for you at 4.1 and not 4.0 or any other version, then you cannot restore to iOS 4.0 or anything other than 4.1, period. Error 3194 is an error code that means valid SHSH blobs were not received by the device, and therefore the restore cannot proceed.

The only blobs you can obtain at this time are 4.1 and 4.2b3. 4.0 and previous are gone (for all intents and purposes) forever.

4.1 is jb'able and unlockable (with a custom firmware). It's even better than 4.0. In addition, it's not tethered.

I suggest going to 4.1, or waiting for 4.2.1. If you use a custom firmware, you also can unlock to any carrier sim

Update your itunes to the latest.
You have the old bootrom, since your iphone is already jailbroken with Blackra1n, put your iphone into recovery mode.
Download Snowbreeze 2.0.2, use exper mode , uncheck activate my iphone.
Build your custom firmware of 4.1 , Shift + restore to Snowbreeze_4.1.ipsw which is placed on your desktop.
Now you will arrive at Emergency Screen.\
Put your official sim to activate
Now you are at Home Screen, unlock with Ultrasn0w from Cydia.

There's no real reason in my opinion to delete the SHSH blobs from Cydia. To be honest, I don't believe there's a way to do it (at least easily--perhaps Saurik could manually axe the database entry for your ECID).

If you'd still like to jailbreak and unlock with 4.1 (very easy, probably superior to 4.0), use iYeow's steps (I'd use sn0wbreeze 2.1 rather than 2.0.2 though) or PwnageTool.
