Resetting???

I'm sure this is a stupid question but I jailbroke and unlocked my neighbors 3g and now they want to sell it but want to do an internal reset (settings>general>reset) she doesn't want to lose the unlock when resetting and I don't think she would but never trying that myself I wanted to make sure here first.

Resetting will put her iphone into a freezing mode. Why don't you do a restore again to 3.xx
