I have an iphone 3g 4.0 and I jailbroke with redsn0w9.5-5b and now my phone icon is missing and the cydia icon is all white.
Rebooting does not work.
And I can not restore it.

upgrade to 4.1 using redsn0w or Pwnagetool. why ? i know your iphone is very slow iight ? thats because 4.0 is not a good version for iphone 3g

Upgrade to 4.1 redsn0w or Pwnagetool to preserve your BB to unlock your iphone in 4.1 your iphone will be alive again and working perfect

Do you want to get to 4.1, jailbroken and unlock. I can get you there.

Download Redsn0w 0.9.6b2 and check only box, put iphone into dfu mode and then open up itunes, shift key + restore to the custom fw of 4.1.

Make sure you have the latest itunes. Redsn0w 0.9.6b2 is not for jailbreaking, only to put you into dfu mode, you have to download the stock 4.1 firmware , you will need it to browse to this stock when you first browse with redsn0w
