iphone 3gs 4.1 not jailbreaking after restore

Hi,

Recently had some problems trying to delete apps with my jailbroken 3gs (limera1n). I have restored because of this to what i believe I was on before...ios 4.1 (8b117) it took 3 attempts with limera1n before...but have tried about 20 times now and no joy...it says that its worked on my pc...and it loads with the limera1n symbol...but limera1n never shows!also tried green pouison but doesnt work...just keeps sayin restart...can anyone help me please?!?

Try redsn0w 0.9.6b2 to see if that works

thanks for your reply...and I was a bit worried bout using it because i thought it wasnt as safe as greenpois0n and limera1n?is there a chance of bricking my iphone?

None of the jailbreaks will brick your phone to the point that a restore cant fix.

Hi...thanks for the previous help...but redsnow jus crashes on my computer and never finishes jailbreaking...I just dont understand why it won't jailbreak?!?

You may want to try another computer

Restore to custom firmware created by Snowbreeze 2.1, just follow closely the dfu mode instructions and then shift + restore to the custom fw of 4.1. Since you are with official carrier, use expert mode & do not let Snowbreeze hactivate it for you.

If you know you have the newbootrom, make sure you check the box for ibooty.
