Help needed on degrading 4.1 to 3.1.3

I am new to iphn . I am using 4.1 frmwr in my 3G can I degrade to 3.1.3 ? Is soo how can I unlock/jailbreak it . . Pls help me . . .My phone is working very slow so plsss help me

Yes you can downgrade to 3.1.3. Just download the 3.1.3 firmware and shift-click restore to it. You can jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.4 but will not be able to unlock yet until a new unlock comes out for your baseband, which could be as early as this weekend.

You will also need tiny umbrella or recboot to kick it out of recovery because you will get an error near the end of the restore which is expected.

Ver 4.1 mdm 05.13.04 . This is my crnt versions of my phn .

Coud u pls tell me how to use tiny umbrella /recboot .

If that is your baseband then you can still unlock, just do not restore to 4.1 or your modem firmware/baseband will be updated and you wont be able to unlock yet. When you are restoring to 3.1.3 you will get an error 1015 near the end of the restore process. Just open tiny umbrella, click on your phone and select kick out of recovery and your phone will boot up. Once booted you can use redsnow 0.9.4 (you will also need a copy of the 3.1.2 firmware to point redsnow to when it asks you for firmware, dont worry it will still jailbreak 3.1.3 doing this). Once jailbroken you can install ultrasn0w from cydia to unlock.
