Jailbreak and Unlock 3GS 3.1.3 from by DFU mode

redsnow is giving the erro when i browse the file

and it says please select the corresponding file to your current firmware but that is not the warning the normal text

When you open redsn0w , it will ask you to browse the stock 4.1 ipsw not the custom one that i gave you. geeez

You have to download the stock yourself from iclarified.

Make sure you don't use redsn0w to jailbreak , only dfu mode and I am not responsible if you make silly mistake.

this is why i was asking you so many questions cause i know nothing about all this

The custom fw i gave you is when you are in dfu mode, itunes will open up and ask you to restore, you click ok and it will check with Apple, say yes, then before you hit restore, press shift first and then restore , a box will open up and you choose my cfw.

and working now what all i need to do for the unlock

Open up Cydia, update and install Ultrasn0w.
