Jailbreaking iPhone 4 on 4.1

Hello,I have a iPhone 4 running 4.0.1 n it's unlocked.I want to update it to 4.1,can I directly upgrade it directly frm apple or do I have to look for a firmware which preserves my baseband n update?

I forgot to add.I want to jailbreak it by limera1n.so is it imp to b on d old baseband?

You can restore to pwnage tools 4.1.2 to preserve your baseband at ios 4.1

Don't use Greenpoison or limera1n because you have to be at a stock ios 4.1 which updates your baseband

If you still want to use Limera1n, then you can restore through Tss Server of Tiny Umbrella to 4.1 while preserving your baseband.
