She wants it up to 4.1 which is fair enough but last time I used tiny umbrella it didnt save the baseband which it did for my iphone 4. She needs to use ultrasn0w is this possable at this time so save the baseband.... Thanks

not using tinyumbrella (only works for the iphone 4), you will have to use a custom ipsw to preserve the baseband, google one created with pwnagetool (make sure it is activated if she needs to unlock) or have someone you know with a mac make you one, then follow the guide here if jailbreakme was used to jailbreak it on 4.0.1, if redsn0w was used then just shift+restore in itunes and point it at the custom ipsw, when the restore is complete use ultrasn0w from cydia to unlock if needed

iReb and snowbreeze is what ur looking for to save the baseband n unlock. There a tutorial on the ih8sn0w sight on how to jailbreak n unlock a 3g using those 2 programs
