I would like to jailbreakmy iphone, help needed

Hi everyone, i want to jailbreak my iphone but dont know where to start. I have a uk iphone and contract with orange. I have version 4.1(8b117) model mc637b modem firmware 05.14.02, is it possible to jailbreak it? Can someone help me or maybe give me a link to a video that explain the process? Mant thanks

Just a quick one, jailbreaking my iphone now will i loose all my applications that i have on it? Music? Photos? Thanks

Make sure you backup your phone in iTunes before jb'ing and you shouldn't loose any data.

You need to figure out which tool is for your device. Not all devices can use certain tools. Specify which phone you have and I'll point you in a more specific direction. Btw, you'll wanna avoid Redsn0w for 4.1 if your device is one that can even use Redsn0w. It's very buggy.
