Recovery mode Loop

My wife dropped the phone in the toilet. So i just wanted to sell on ebay. Upgraded to 4.1 then jailbroke. then did a restore to wipe out all data. Now i'm in a loop

I try using the restore and it goes through loading onto phone but still will not boot into the OS. I've tried downgrading to a different firmware but i cannot get this phone to do anything other than loop. I've tried irecovery,ireb, also tried editing host file and then restoring I am lost!!!

Well I hope u were smart enough to immediately turn it off and leave it off for 3-6 days to dry other wise you probably fried something but you could still sell it for parts

we did turn it off and leave it in rice. although home button is still fried. Plan on selling it broken on ebay. but would prefer for it to be running some firmware! i know before i tried to restore and it was running everything worked but the home button so someone will probably be interested in it
