I phone factory unlocked iphone 4 ios 4.1 with baseband 2.10.04
now i want to jailbreak it and also unlock it? is it possible how can i do this please help

you can jailbreak it with greenp0ison or limera1n but an unlock is impossible at this point on time

actually i bought frm apple store in Adelaide, Australia and i just had to ask for unlocked iPhone coz' i will be using non official sim so they will give u factory unlocked iphone

please are u sure about this...i have been hearing that baseband 2.10.04 cannot be unlocked so i m little nervous trying to jb it....r u 100% sure

if it's factory unlocked then it will always be unlocked, there is nothing you can do to lock it, period

thankyou guys i jail broke it...it was tough via green pois0n but limera1n is great... and network signal it came late my heart was in my mouth but it came and m really really happy....thankyou thankyou thankyou guys for ur help

Not sure but I think the Dev-Team is working on an unlock for f/w 4.1 bb 2.10.04

nothing definitive has been released, but there has been chatter on twitter from some of the dev-team members that they may have found one, of course it has to be tested extensively to ensure it works so keep your fingers crossed

Interesting. Just curious because I recently had phone software problems that I could only fix my restoring my official 4.1 firmware. Just wondering if I will be able to re-unlock my phone. I'm using Sidekick+iPhone as a media/app device right now but I'd like to go back to just using one device eventually.

Hey! I need help.... What if I want to jailbreak an iPhone 4 with 2.10.04 firmware with official carrier (for example Rogers, Fido-Canada), will it stay with the same official carrier? Coz I will still be using the same network anyway, OR will it be locked? Thanks and have great day to all!
