downgrade help!!!
i have iphone 3gs version 4.1 when i download the firewire 4.0.1 it will only save as zip file, when i go through itunes to downgrade it cant find the file?

change the .zip to .ipsw, next time use chrome, firefox, or opera to download it, not internet explorer or safari, you will only be able to downgrade to 4.0.1 if you have shsh's saved for 4.0.1, so unless you do i wouldn't worry about trying to downgrade

Why do you want to downgrade 3gs at 4.1 , you are not going to downgrade the baseband to unlock if you are thinking that downgrading the firmware will unlock it.
