Anyone know what "applesyncnotifier.exe" is?
I recently downloaded itunes 10.1 so I could upgrade to 4.1 and no matter what I try I can't update. The only thing I notice that might be the problem is when I start up my computer I get an error message stating that "applesyncnotifier.exe" did not start because it couldn't find some .dll something or other. Is this related to itunes? Could that be what is causing me to not be able to upgrade to 4.1 ?

yes. it's a program that talks to iTunes when it finds devices connected to the comp.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes and see if it helpsBeing an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.

It doesn't make sense because when I plug the phone in to the computer itunes sees it, but I have not been able to either restore to a stock 3.1.2 or 4.0 or 4.1. in other words I seem to be locked to my current version which is 3.1.2 jailbroken. Crazy game we play eh?..LOL
