how to downgrade iphone 3g os4.0 to 3.1.3
how to downgrade iphone 3g os4.0 to 3.1.3
i upgraded my iphone 3g to 4.0 with snowbreez by custom ipsw.
now speed of my iphone 3g is too slow.
now i want to go downgrade back to 3.1.3
or upgrade to 4.1 but i guess that is still not available for 3g.
so can any1 help me or link me to any tutorial.
i will be highly thankful for your co operation.
modern firmware is 5.13.4

use snowbreeze to go to 4.1, it's better for 3G

To downgrade, put your iphone into DFU mode.
Shift + restore to 3.1.3 ipsw
Kick out of recovery from Tiny Umbrella when error 1015 pops up.
Now you are at emergency screen
Run Redsn0w 0.9.4 to hactivate and jailbreak but point to 3.1.2 ipsw.
Unlock with Ultrasn0w from Cydia.Last edited by iYeow; 10-25-2010 at 11:41 PM.
