Go with pwnagetool 4.1 if you've got access to a MAC and get up to 4.1 firmware.

@foreveraudio As westonben stated, you might as well upgrade to 4.1 before jailbreaking unless you are unlocked. After upgrading to 4.1, jailbreak with pwnagetool, limera1n, or my recommendation greenpois0n. Tutorials are available on http://www.theiphonedemos.com/

No issues with jbme to be honest. Just the annoying pixels. Easy to get on 4.1 with pwnage so that gets my vote.

Yes, you will need a Mac to use Pwnage tools 4.1.2, you cannot simply transfer the custom ipsw onto a windows based pc to restore or you will get errors.
