All my info?

I have iPhone 4 (4.1) JB but what I really want to know is if it's possible to use any software to save ALL my info (txt, notes, ALL?) Can I use the iPhone explore or any whatever? Because I just yesterday upgraded to 4.1 and lost all of that info.

Cydia app backup utilities: PkgBackup, AptBackup, Chronous

App Store app backups: Stored on iTunes

Old texts, contacts, safari history, etc: Stored on iTunes

Just something to take into consideration for the future: before you upgrade, make sure to do a final sync with iTunes. Then after your upgrade, when you get a choice of whether to restore as a new phone or as a backup, restore it as a backup. It will bring back all your old info.

I have both pkgbackup that worked great, but I guess all of my txt and notes and camera pics are gone and I do backup my phone before every update.
But for whatever reason the all of the backups are all old like 4 or 5 months, don't see how or why? Also I have a PC not a Mac
