I want to rejailbreak

Hey guys I have apparently done some unsavory things with my iphone and I get the sad iphone boot screen from time to time. I would like to restore my iPhone, go back to ios 4.0.1 and re jailbreak. Is this the best way? If so could someone tell me how or point me to a tutorial?

By the way I have the 3GS. Can you jailbreak with the latest ios fw from apple? I don't even know what version it is now, unfortunately dental school takes time away from my life of leisure.

if you don't need an unlock then yes, all firmwares for the 3GS can be jailbroken

Cool so I can just restore to 4.1? Do you still use jailbreakme.com or is it a different procedure?

You use GreenPoison, Limera1n or Pwnage tools 4.1, jailbreak me is for 4.0 and 4.0.1

since you're already jailbroken, just restore to a custom firmware made by pwnage tool 4.1.2.

I only have a PC is it possible to use Pwnage to restore?

Pwnage tools is for Mac only, wait a couple more days for Snowbreeze 2.1 for PC.
