unknown error (1004)...WTH!
So I finally decided to upgrade to the 4.1 on the iphone and after it downloads it got stuck on this error....WTF!!
"The iphone could not restored. An unknown error occurred (1004)
Can anyone help out?"iPhone 4

Go to google and search tiny umbrella then download it and while your phone is plugged up open itunes then open tiny umbrella and click kick device out of recovery all 1004 means is your baseband didnt update which can be a great thing

Your phone still in recovery i take it so just plug it back up and hit kick device out of recovery

na I just set it up to restore as a new phone, hopefully I'll be able to JB it & reload all my cydia app with pkgbackup!

Kool will do, just reinstalled pkgbackup and lanched restore.....keep my fingers crossed, cuz its my 1st time usin it!
