Default iPhone 4 Upgrading to 4.1 Using SHSH and Solving Error 3014

    Tested Windows 7
    iPhone 4, Firmware 4.0.1 to 4.1
No other iPhones were tested just to clarify right away
    .

I've been trying to upgrade my iPhone 4 for a week to firmware 4.1 while preserving my baseband with TINYUMBRELLA.

Whenever I'd try to upgrade I'd get error 3014, even though I had my SHSH saved for 4.1.

Some of you might already know this, some might not, I didn't so I decided to share the experience with the community.

At first, it wasn't working I kept plugging into USB drive and run TSS Server, clicked restore on iTunes and it would just pop that error 3014, that I was tired seeing.

At 7th day, I've had it enough. I decided to give a shot by switching between USB slots, I'd open iTunes, run TSS Server, than TinyUmrella would restart iTunes I'd open iTunes press Restore and it finally went through without giving me error 3014.

I should've tried switching USB slots right away but who would ever assume it's because of the USB or whatever the reason was.

So if you're still trying to upgrade to 4.1 on iPhone 4, and you're getting error 3014, try this method it'll go through eventually.

Make sure nothing is running on port 80 also when running TSS server.
